It is widely known that fairies exist in Middle Earth.
There are numerous companion beings around us, from faeries to angels to spirited plant personalities. To tap into their presence, we only need to let curiosity and intuition remain open to the unusual.
Fairies work diligently and take their role as caretakers of the earth very seriously. The god of the wild, Pan, aids them in their efforts and acts as another human ally in protecting the planet. If you ever meet Pan, you may find him thoughtful and witty, which I hope happens for you. Pan, both gentle and firm, leads the faery realm in continual attempts to repair harm caused by intensive agriculture and the human pursuit of oil, gems, and metals.
A cottage garden is sure to attract many faeries. They appreciate all kinds of plants, with special fondness for daisies, daffodils, tulips, grape hyacinth, dianthus, nasturtiums, umbelliferous blooms such as carrot and dill, poppies, columbine, bleeding heart, and naturally, ferns and climbing vines.
A tiny fairy gathering wishes once came across an oversized dandelion and chose to carry it home because it was too heavy to fly with. She declined offers of help from the other fairies out of pride and self-reliance. Unaware that the wishes were retracing their paths, she returned home to find them all vanished. Saddened, she went back to recover them and, on her way, discovered who had made each wish come true.
By setting these fairies in your garden as you wish, you can invite other faeries and otherworldly visitors.

- They measure between 25 to 45 inches when the stake is included.
